What is meant by moksha when it is described as liberation from the cycle of birth and death?

This cycle of birth and death is the symbolic representation of how everything in this universe moves in a sinusoidal curve. Happiness is followed by sadness, success is followed by failure, creation is followed by destruction, birth is followed by death, high is followed by low, excitement is followed by boredom and so on.

What exactly is this cycle trying to tell and Why this even exist? It happens so natural that we don't bother to question the curve. Why the curve of almost all the phenomenon happening in this universe is sinusoidal only, and never a straight line or a parabola or a hyperbola or something else. It seems someone deliberately keep the things going in this way only. Since it's so big and beyond human control, we have GOD!

Though God exists in human society for a variety of other reasons too, for example, the Freudian interpretation of existence of God in his "Wish-Fulfillment hypothesis".

But this so accurate movement of all life forms suggest there must be God or something like God.

I don't know if God exist(couldn't find him yet)!

But there is something more interesting to it, this cycle continues in this universe but only in time and not in space. How does that work?

Same way the idea of Plato exist(though they neither exist in space nor time).

What I meant by saying they exist in time and not in space is that they doesn't happens as a continuous process in this outside world but in our mind.

More important thing is the concept of liberation from cycle of birth and death in Hindu philosophy is so fantastic, look it this way!

What they meant by that is, in order to be liberated from this cycle, you doesn't need to die physically, you just need to die in time. What is meant by it is to transcend time or be TIMELESS!

For you, there is no time. This is what symbolic in the concept.

Time is what binds us to this world, just come out of that Time-trap and you won!

The time to joy is in timelessness!

Once you transcends time, then only you can come out of that sinusoidal curve because that too exists in time.

Time kills, time is suffering, time is supreme.

Keep fighting with time and you will lose, be timeless and you win!

The utility of God doesn't lie in his existence but in our faith in him which hugely reduces our sufferings. A half-awakened man will find it very difficult to keep the things in order by himself, but his faith in God made his life easy.

So, God is necessary and important for me, not because he exist and is a creator, sustainer, destroyer of the universe but because he is of my utility. Since my problems in life reduces or gets solved to a great extent by having faith in God, hence, God is useful for me and I believe in him and i don't bother whether he actually exist or not. If he would exist, well and good, if not, then also good because I lived a comparatively less painful life by just having faith in him.

And that's why Buddha was silent on any question on God and tries addressing the real problems of life without delving into the debate of whether God exist or not. Also, the man who is awakened knows there is no god, or if there is any god, it's me(here me referring to my chitta) and only me, as dictated by Shankaracharya. When you get to control your life, life becomes difficult and that's why God becomes necessary, either outside(whom you have faith in) or in you.
